Gums
Bleeding gums should not be considered normal. They often indicate inflammation caused by plaque, tartar or insufficient cleaning between the teeth. If treated early, the problem can usually be controlled with professional cleaning, better hygiene and follow-up. Persistent bleeding requires a periodontal assessment to check the deeper supporting tissues.
